Aims Of The Trust

Cherry Tree circle on the Land
The Trustees have drawn up a number of Aims that they
hope will provide the opportunity for women to enjoy and
appreciate the Land:-
* To safeguard the Land as an ecological and conservation
project, where women tend the land and are able to renew
and rediscover their ancient relationship with the earth
and with nature.
* To plant the Land with local species of tree, shrubs,
perennials and wild flowers, including traditional Cornish
varieties now becoming extinct.
* To provide facilities for disabled women, including accessability
by wheelchair to woodland and garden.
* To provide an area of natural habitat where women and
children may come to learn about nature and ecology
* To provide safe space for women to have meditation and
relaxation outdoors in an environment of peace and beauty.
* To incorporate small garden plots for local women and
children to grow their own foods and to learn gardening
techniques. To include a raised bed system for diabled women
and a scented garden for those who are blind.
* To provide a safe and peaceful temporary sanctuary to
which women may come for respite from violence/abuse in
the home, streets, workplace, towns.

varieties.
